RPM:s 1/72 Railroad Tracks

If you are in need of 1/72 scale railroad tracks, for diorama work, or to show off some rail-bound model this one is for you. The kit comes in grey plastic, and the parts are well moulded. There are some minute amounts of flash to be cleaned off, but that is no big problem.

As always with RPM, the assembly is a little bit contrived. But there is a point to it. You would expect lengths of assembled tracks. Insted you get the sleepers and the rail as separate parts, and they are assembled actually pretty much like 1:1 railroad tracks, with sliding the rails under the clamps fastened on the sleepers. And I guess this feature could be a bonus in some types of dioramas.

This fine kit will give you a combined sum of 18cm tracks, which perhaps is a bit steep, considering the price.
